American Politics: Hatred and Contempt

We The People are being dragged through a national crisis by our Ruling Class.  Many of them declare others of them to be filled with hatred and contempt for our nation and people of color.  Those accused declare the accusers to be filled with hatred and contempt.

As We The People struggle with the declarations all day every day, shouldn’t we step back and try to see the big picture, shouldn’t we step back and look for any possible sign that would help us figure out who’s responsible for taking our nation down this rabbit hole?

Instead of listing to the Ruling Class’ declarations about who’s responsible, shouldn’t We The People use our own eyes and ears to figure out who’s responsible?

During the State of the Union Address on February 4, 2020, our nation honored one-hundred-year-old Charles McGee.  He is a retired Tuskegee Airman who flew 409 aerial fighters combat missions for our nation.  He is a veteran of World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.  During the State of the Union Address, our nation honored him by promoting him to the rank of Brigadier General.  He rose to his feet, stood to attention, and saluted our nation.

As the House Chamber rose to their feet and applauded General Charles McGee, Congresswomen Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar expressed their hatred and contempt for our nation’s President by refusing to stand and applaud in honor of a true American hero.

When we close our eyes and look into our hearts, when we put our political biases aside, don’t we all really know who’s responsible?
